My first day as a detective

I did it, I had to wear this get up to work allllllllll week! I started my new assignment as a detective and I have to say, I DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE GOTTEN MYSELF INTO THIS TIME!
But, I do clean up pretty well HAHAHAHA!!!!! what ever

We went to the Fargo Air Show and the girls had soo much fun. The girls thought they were so cool when they got their chance to sit in this Black Hawk. I wanted to fly it, but the pilot just said,"If you want to fly it just sign up at that booth over there and if you make it through boot camp, ground training, and pilot training, this baby is yours.
I think I'm going to live through the girls and have one of them become a Black Hawk pilot.

Racing for breast cancer

The family went to the races the other night to watch this car race, bad thing is he crashed in the main and had to be towed off the track.

The driver of this FINE automobile works with my Mom. He wanted to do something special for her, so he had this sticker made. "Racing Against Breast Cancer Racing for Linda Miller"

Very Cool. Shelby was so excited "Dad he is a real race car driver, he is so cool!"

Reagan's first day of school

This is what a WILD child looks like when she get off the school bus for the first time. "Mom that was sooo fun, I love the bus!"

As you can see Shelby is a little closer to "Dad I want...need.... Mom said, I could get a car becasue I hate the bus!" And she will punish Reagan just like all teens do once they get the car and control all coming and going with out Mom or Dad.

Spring 2009 - When will it get here????

Attention we have a medical emergency...

This has been a busy spring for us - if we can actually say that spring has even arrived. We still have a lot of snow on the ground. Shawn is finally back to a normal shift schedule after working 15 days of which 10 of those were 12+ hour days. They have now announced that we could possibly see a 2nd crest of the Red River mid-April to the same level as this last record breaking crest. I am praying that it is lower but with all of the snow left to melt it almost seems inevitable.

Shelby and Raegan are doing good. Shelby will be turning eight on the 10th. I can't believe she will be staring 3rd grade this fall. Raegan is still our little busy bee - she just can't stop moving and loves to be tickled. She will be starting kindergarten this fall - can you believe it?

We will be moving our camper to our lot on the 24th - fishing, campfires, relaxing - here we come! We are looking forward to making some great family memories this summer.
